Jungle on the South Coast – at Mogo
Experience a safari on the South Coast of NSW at Mogo Wildlife Park, Mogo. Just 10km south of Batemans Bay, 2hr from Canberra & 2.5hr from Woolongong, make Mogo Zoo a stop or side trip on any South Coast Journey. I revisited this favorite spot recently as I wanted to see how it had recovered after the 2020 bushfires where it was at risk of being destroyed but thanks to the brave efforts of owners and staff. I was glad to see that it was as good as, if not better than I remembered. In this tranquil 70-acre paradise, take some time to enjoy the peaceful and natural setting the custodians have recreated for both visitors and animals. The team here has a passion for conservation and wildlife protection, wishing to educate and share the joy of these animals by offering feeding opportunities and talks by zookeepers.
